POWER AGAINST BACKWARDNESS, DELAY, SETBACKS

 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,”   (Luke 4:18)

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”   (Luke 10:19)

A lot of people see themselves in the dream going back to their former places: former place of work, former houses, former schools and when they wake, they know in their spirit that this is not a good thing. This is a symptom that one is not progressing spiritually, rather regressing. The retrogression is not yet physical but it will if not addressed. It is still spiritual that is why you are seeing it in the dream, so you must deal with it fast. These dreams also translates to setbacks.

Delays on the other hand means things are not moving when they ought to move, or things are being hindered from moving. Things not moving when they should move.

“But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.”   (Jeremiah 7:24).

As you can see in the scripture above, of one the reasons God says people are backward is rebellion. Rebellion is when you voluntarily and stubbornly refused to obey God or abide by His rules or commands. You can't move forward if God is angry with you. In anyway you are disobeying him, repent and make amends now.

There other examples in the bible that shows that when people chose to rebel against God, it leads to their destruction, hardship, setbacks and failure. It works against them and their progress.

“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.”   (1 Samuel 15:23)

Now, this post is not about rebellion but what cause setbacks, delays, and backwardness, for believers.

When you keep seeing yourself in your village in the dream or your father's house or former house, something is taking you backward or holding you down in your foundation or your past and this would result in backwardness. While there are many spirits behind backwardness and retrogression, setbacks, delay, the common ones are listed here:

1. Idolatry

2. Polygamy and polygamous witchcraft

3. Curses

4. Evil covenants

5. Strongman in your foundation or father's house.

6. Evil strongholds

For delays, strongholds are mostly responsible. If you experience a delay in any area of your life, you need to identify and break the strongholds responsible for it. This is where you ask the Lord to reveal to you what is responsible for this delay in your life. Strongholds are notorious for being hidden and secret, except God shows you the way, you may be stuck in the same thing and in the same place for a long time. Sometimes, the simple reason why you are having a delay in your life is because you didn't apologize to someone that was offended by you, or you didn't forgive someone that offends you. There is something you need to know that would change your life. It is a secret and it is hidden. For every stubborn problem that you couldn't solve, there is a secret behind it. Don't just pray amiss or jump into conclusion, pray according to revelation. Tell God to show you why things are not working. If you have to fast to get the revelation, pls do.

Whatever you do, make sure you are on the right side of God and God is on your side. God is willing to do anything for the righteous, according to his word. In fact, he anticipates it (James 5:16). It is not God's will that you don't go forward, neither it's His will that you're stuck in one point. He wants to bring you out. He wants you to have everything that he has to offer - promotion, prosperity, good health, long life, success, peace of mind.

What you have to do is obey his word, obey his instructions, then stop whatever tries to stop you. You know what is right and what is not, do the right thing and you can come before God with boldness to ask for the things you want.

Never give the enemy the chance or the opportunity to stop you or block your progress, or your success. You should be as wise as serpents and harmless as doves. The word of God or the scriptures makes you wiser than your enemy and gives you an advantage over them. Do not do or live without it.

1. Every stronghold of backwardness in my life, be broken, in the name of Jesus.

2. Every power of backwardness in my life, be destroyed, in the name of Jesus

3. Every strongman of backwardness in my life and in my foundation, die! In the name of Jesus.

4. Every stronghold of delay, setbacks, in my life, be broken, in the name of Jesus.

5. Every power of delay and setbacks in my life, be destroyed in the name of Jesus.

6. Every strongman of delay, setbacks, in my life, die! In the name of Jesus.

7. Household witchcraft assigned against my progress, die! In the name of Jesus.

8. The enemy of my progress, scatter! In the name of Jesus.

9. Every power assigned to kill my destiny, die! In the name of Jesus.

10. Every power assigned to pull me down, be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.

11. Every power behind my problem, whoever is behind my problem, fall down and die! In the name of Jesus.

12. Every arrow of regression, destruction or failure, go back to your sender, in the name of Jesus.

13. The yoke and the power of impossibility, in my life, be scattered, in the name of Jesus.

14. The power to possess my possessions, the power to win my battles, the power to succeed, the power to fulfill my destiny, come upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
