The Mystery Of Dreams
Ecclesiastes 5:3 "For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool's voice is known by multitude of words."
"For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword" (Job 33:14-18 KJV)
From the above scriptures you can see that dreams comes in two ways: through the multitude of business and when God wants to speak to us. For almost two decades, I've been studying dreams, the paranormal, supernatural and spiritual things in general. I have discovered something so deep and vast that it'll take ten human minds stitched together to grasp it fully.
The funny thing about life is before something happens physically, it would have happened in the spiritual at least three years prior. This is why some dreams should not be joked with. I know someone who died recently but before her death she'd always dreamt of pit before her or around her. She has been seeing pits in her dreams. She knew it meant a bad thing but would only reject it in Jesus name when she wakes up, she never knew what it infers. Something had dug a pit for her in the spirit realm. Anything could do that - from witchcraft to rebellion (against God) to occult activity to wickedness of the wicked, and there are specific ways to deal with each of the instances not just by rejecting it when someone wakes up.
Dreams Explained
Before you sleep and have a dream, certain things are already in place:
1. Your spirit is ready to encounter anything about your life or in your past and your spiritual environment or surrounding that is invisible to the physical human eye.
2. Your soul will try to put the multitude of your live's businesses in order. Throughout the day you were trying to fix everything with your own knowledge and understanding and you wouldn't get many things right, I mean not the way that sits right with the soul, so when you sleep, your soul attempts to fix things on your mind or in your heart and you may begin to dream about these fixing process. This is why the bible says dreams come through the multitude of business.
3. The angels of the Lord are on hand to lead you into another night or another round of visions, revelations, about yourself and other people.
4. Your foundational, inherited, or acquired enemies are coming after you now that you've woken in the spirit (physically asleep) and ready to show you what they are made of. Even if you're spiritually strong, as long as they have a legal ground to challenge you in the spirit they'll show up and fight.
5. The Lord Himself is trying to tell you something.
These are what is happening when you dream.
FACTORS THAT IMPROVES YOUR DREAMING EXPERIENCE
Enough of the meaningless, negative and bad dreams, how can you have more of positive dreams?
1. Study the bible. Psalm 119:105 says: "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." When the word illuminates your spirit's path and guides your spirit, there will be less shenanigans and harassments in your dreams, because the word of God is the sword of the spirit (Ephesians 6:17). You must be filled with God's word.
2. Positive Mindset and Positive attitude: Your spirit and soul will have less dark and negative things to cope with in the dream if you cultivate positive habits and mindset.
3. Spirit-led and revelations based prayers: Don't just pray. Let your prayers be led by the Spirit as the bible says (Romans 8:26). Only the Holy Ghost knows the hidden and mysterious things about your life, have a relationship with him so he can guide you on how to pray. Seek Him, tell him to reveal whatever is not his will in your life so you can pray it away.
4. Obedience: When you keep God's commandments He will keep you and preserve you from things that can harm you and harm your soul hence preserving you even in your dreams.
5. Be led by the Spirit of God (Isaiah 59:19). When you're baptized with the Spirit of God and you allow him to lead you, He'll surely defend and protect you from whatever the enemy is launching against you. He will reveal things that are relevant to you and guide you on actions to take in time. The leading of the Spirit of God works better when you're the type that reads and studies your Bible.
