The Evil Burden
Isaiah 10:27. And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
Matthew 11:28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
An evil burden is on many people. Many are distressed, helpless, troubled and anxious. A mysterious yoke seems to hang upon some.
Psalm 46:1. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
The burden of marriage, relationship, career, family, finance, debt and other issues has overwhelmed some. Many cant even laugh or smile because the devil constantly remind them of their problems.
Jeremiah 32:27. Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
There is nothing too hard for God to do. Don't doubt him. Have faith in him.
Sometimes, there are demonic powers behind those burdens, unknown to many. That's why we should not take our dreams lightly. God normally show us what is about to happen in the dream, if we don't pray and act, those things may, or if it is a good dream, may not happen. If you have a bad dream, pray against it immediately you wake up or when you remember the dream, and when you have a good dream, pray that it will come to pass.
There are principalities and powers that places evil burdens on people and these burdens will eventually become reality if not discovered and destroyed early with prayers.
Sometimes, a bad dream occurs because a wicked power has carried out an operation against you and if you don't pray very well, it will manifest.
Are you under any financial, marital, emotional, health, physical or emotional burden? The Lord will set you free (Psalm 20, Psalm 102:13).
Most cases of calamities, fatalities, accidents and misfortune have spiritual undertone. The truth is God never wanted it to happen to you. And God use to show us these things before it happens, we just don't pay attention or did not understand (Job 33:14-19)
OVERCOMING EVIL BURDENS
If every thing else have failed, then try God.
Accept Jesus Christ and believe on him.
Praise and Worship: Wonders do happen when we praise and worship God wholeheartedly (Acts 16:25-26). But I am talking about when you praise and worship God for a long time. A couple of hours should be okay, and it will be worth it.
Giving (Psalm 41:1-3): Always remember to support the poor and the needy and every good cause out there and the Lord will visit you. When you show mercy, God also show you mercy (Matthew 5:7).
Fasting (Isaiah 58:6-11): Fast at least once in a week for a good cause so that God can pay special attention to you. When you starve yourself of food for a good reason, and pray, it will bring God's power down.
Prayer (Philippians 4:6, 1 Peter 5:7): Pour out your heart before God. Tell him everything that bothers you or troubles you, he will hear you if you pray from the heart and he will make a way.
Be righteous and holy: God always make a way for the righteous (Proverbs 11:8).
Appreciate what you have, no one have it all. Maintain good relationship with others.
When you appreciate what you have and what the Lord has done for you, he will do more for you.
The wisdom of God is indispensable. By wisdom so many problems can be solved. The wisdom of God is found in His word and in deep relationship with the Holy Spirit. You can also ask for God's wisdom (James 1:5).
PRAYER POINTS
O Lord, remove this burden from me in the name of Jesus. (Mention the burdens)
O Lord, let this yoke be broken in the name of Jesus. (Mention the yokes you want broken).
O Lord, open my eyes to see the solution to my problem in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, guide me, lead me out of this situation in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, make a way for me in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, destroy every stronghold that is against me in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, empower me for success in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, lift me up above my problems in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, connect me with the person who will help me in the name of Jesus
O Lord, have mercy on me in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, set me free from every foe, every adversary and every oppressor in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, give me the breakthrough I need in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, let me not be ashamed in the name of Jesus.
