The Favour Of The Lord.

Psalm 5:12, For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Psalm 30:5, For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Isaiah 43:4, Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.

The virgin Mary found favour with God and she became the mother of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. That is the highest honour God has ever given to a man or woman (Luke 1:26-31). Jesus is the Lord, the law and the Spirit of God and the Word of God in the flesh- that is God himself, no greater honour can God do to a man than to come into the world through him and that is a man that has found favour with God.

The bible tells us that a man that finds a wife obtains the favour of the Lord-that is a man that is favoured by God finds a wife. There may be a lot of women to chose from, but a good wife comes from God (Proverbs 19:14b).

When a man or woman is favoured by God, they are blessed and also become a blessing (Genesis 12: 2-3, Genesis 26:12, 2 Corinthians 9:8-11).

When a man is favoured by God, his prayers will be answered (Psalm 20:1-4, Acts 16:25-26)

When a man is favoured by God, death and destruction passes over him (Acts 28:1-6)

In the favour of God is life- that is you live and breathe in the favour of God (Psalm 102:13, Lamentations 3:22-23).

When a man is favoured by God he obtains His mercy.

A man that is favoured by God can not be wasted, a man that is favoured can not be destroyed or killed because His angels are always around such men (Psalm 34:7, Psalm 91:11-12).

When a man or woman is favoured by God, the things he is looking for will begin to look for him.

When you're favoured by God, whoever you meet with would be blessed (Genesis 30:27)

When a man is favoured by God, when he asks he will be given (Exodus 12:36)  

Some are hungry and famished now but if they find favour with God, they will have plenty (2 Kings 7:3-8, 1 Kings 17:7-16)

Jesus was in favour with God and man which made men and multitudes to suspend what they were doing and followed him.

When a couple that is trying to conceive finds favour with God, they will conceive (1 Samuel 1, Genesis 25:21, Deuteronomy 7:14).

If you're favoured by God, you will not lack or want (Philippians 4:19, Psalm 34:10).

When you're favoured by God, your enemies will bow before you or be at peace with you (Deuteronomy 28:7, Proverbs 16:7, Psalm 23:5).

HOW DO YOU OBTAIN THE FAVOUR OF GOD?

• Receive Him by receiving His Son Jesus Christ into your life (John 3:16, John 10:10).
• Live righteously and justly  (Psalm 5:12, Psalm 15, Psalm 112:1-9)
• Giving   (Luke 6:30-31, 38; Psalm 41:1-3)
• Prayers and Intercession (James 5:13-18)
• Serve God in spirit and in truth (Matthew 19:29, Revelation 22:12, Hebrews 11:6)
• Pray for the favour of the Lord (1 Chronicles 4:9-10, Matthew 7:7-8).
• Spend some time to thank God for his favour daily and he will favour you (Colossians 1:12-14, Psalm 68:19)
